This blog is a new world for me to embrace. I have a passion for writing and photography, albeit small and nonprofessional passions, but passion none the less. Therefore, within this blog you'll find a page where I will attempt different creative writing prompt activities (Prompts). In similar fashion, you will find a page where I will post photos that I feel hold natural and artistic value, followed by a short discussion of my thoughts. There is also a page that will contain previous writing or poems which I compose outside of the prompts found in the aforementioned page (Poems). What's in a word? Many times a picture can raise as much debate as a single phrase spoken with beautiful inflection. The picture can create emotion, raise memories long forgotten, and awaken the soul. They are frozen images that when looked back upon can create another experience altogether.
What is poetry? It is the flowing movement of words that create true art through the soul's emotions and capture the most vivid moments ever lived. They are the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings which upon later review can instill the same or a greater emotional ebb and flow compared to the original experience; thus illustrating that the reader is in some degree enlightened and reformed.
